Stitch Glossary:

MB: (Make Bobble)

You use one stitch and turn your work back and forth to make the bobble. There are 5 steps. You start out on the right side and then you turn the work around to the wrong side for step 2; back to the right side for step 3; back to the wrong side for step 4; and finish on the right side and proceed with the rest of the row.

MB: Step 1: K1, yo, K1 in next st; turn

Step 2: P1, (P1, yo, P1) in next st, P1; turn

Step 3: K5; turn

Step 4: P2 tog, P1, P2tog; turn

Step 5: Sl 1, K2 tog, PSSO

Bobble is made at this point. Make sure it is pushed to the front of the work.

T2: K next 2 sts tog, leaving them on left hand needle, K the first st again; then slip both sts of left hand needle together.

Seed Stitch: Row 1: K1 P1 to end and then K the Purls and P the Knits to make seeds.

SS5= 5 stitches in seed stitch for each side border.

CO 46 with size 9 needles

Work 4 rows of Seed Stitch.

Row 1: SS5, K5, P1, T2, P2 across to last 5 sts, SS5.

Row 2: SS5, K1, P2, K1, P5, Rpt to last 5 sts, SS5.

Row 3: SS5, K2 MB, K2, P1 T2, P1, across; end last rpt; K2, MB, K2, SS5.

Row 4: Rpt Row 2

Row 5: Rpt Row 1

Row 6: Rpt Row 2

Continue these 6 rows for pattern. Work 4 rows Seed Stitch. Bind off
